2023 Scholarship Recipients
Monday, June 26, 2023The Northern Macomb Foundation awarded schoarships to Romeo High School graduates Calli Hotter, Iban Contreras, Kayla Thomas; Armada High School graduates Timothy Burman, Kayla Rawlins; New Haven High School graduate Gavin Rodzik; Richmond High School graduate Grace O'Neal; and Memphis High School graduate Lauren Behrendt, recognizing their leadership and outstanding achievements.
These students completed the Northern Macomb Foundation Scholarship application earlier this year, including an essay in which they described their future goals. The Northern Macomb Scholarship Comittee reviewed each application carefully, using six catagories to choose the 2023 scholarship recipents: Financial need; Community Service & Volunteerism, Academic achievement; Leadership; and Extracurricular activities.
It is extremly rewarding to be part of the Northern Macomb Foundation, helping these young leaders take the next step on their educational journey, as we serve to fulfill our mission of supporting education, leadership and workforce development in the Northern Macomb County, stated Foundation Presiden Joe Worden.
